International Accreditation Document for the Appointment of a Senior Official

Advisory Council to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC),
Pursuant to the Council’s Presidential Decision No. (276 / 2026) issued on 20/01/2026:
The Supreme Council for Arab-African Economy hereby announces the accreditation and appointment of:
Mr. / Abdulrahman Mohammed Yahya Abu Labada (Syrian nationality)
to the position of Vice President of the Council for Economic Sports and Director of the KHR Academic Project.
The appointee is recognized as an international official according to the Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice, 1949.
Accordingly, no person has the right to detain, search, or conduct any investigation procedures against the appointee except with authorization from the Organization, in accordance with the international treaties issued under the United Nations framework.
The appointee enjoys all international privileges and immunities established by the following international agreements and conventions:
- Articles (57 – 63 – 105) of the United Nations Charter, 1945.
- Provisions of the preparatory works of the United Nations Conference in San Francisco, 1945, ensuring absolute immunity of international officials in all countries, including their country of nationality.
- Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations, 1946.
- Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of Specialized Agencies of the United Nations, 1947.
- Provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, 1961.
All parties are requested to facilitate the duties of the above-mentioned appointee and not to obstruct him in achieving the Organization’s objectives worldwide.
