Membership in the African-Arab Higher Council for Economy

According to the Statutes of the African-Arab Higher Council for Economy, membership can be acquired by countries, international organizations of all types and forms, as well as economic entities and institutions in all their legal forms, in accordance with the rules and conditions set forth in the Council’s Statutes.

Membership in the Council is organized within the framework of the General Assembly as follows:

Permanent Membership

Secondly

Affiliate Membership – for countries or entities that have not yet fulfilled the requirements for full membership.

Thirdly

Observer Status – for international organizations that meet the criteria for this designation.

Fourthly

Honorary Membership – granted by a decision of the Council’s General Assembly Executive Management.
In all cases, membership is granted according to specific regulations, with privileges and authorities that vary depending on the type of membership, as determined by the Executive Management of the General Assembly and the President and First Deputy Commissioner for Membership Affairs.
