Organizational Structure
The organizational structure of the African-Arab Supreme Council for Economy consists of specialized working groups established to define the Council’s operational approach through structured channels. This framework ensures transparency and reflects the responsibility of the Council’s senior management in decision-making, highlighting the inclusion of personnel who embrace the Council’s vision and strive to advance its mission and achieve its objectives.
Notably, the Council’s organizational structure has been designed by experts in accordance with international standards that align with technological advancements, fostering civilizational progress while preserving the cultural identity of each member state, without interfering in the internal affairs of any collaborating country, thereby reflecting the Council’s overarching vision and mission.
The General Assembly of the African-Arab Supreme Council for Economy is composed of a structured and organized team that operates according to a hierarchical system. This hierarchy is headed by the President of the General Assembly, Advisor/Dr. Hani Abu Zeid, who also serves as the President of the Council.
- The First Deputy of the President of the Council, Ambassador Yasser Al-Bakhshawan, acts on behalf of the President of the General Assembly. He holds the position of High Commissioner for the Council’s Member States and is officially delegated by the President to serve as his deputy.
- The General Assembly of the Council is composed of main bodies that assist the President and his deputies in managing the General Assembly (the Senior Management of the General Assembly), including: first, the General Secretariat; second, the Supreme Advisory Board; third, the Supreme Commission Board; and fourth, a group of High Commissions that complete the formation of the Senior Management of the General Assembly.
- The General Secretariat is managed by the Secretary-General and the Assistant Secretary-General, who oversee the administrative affairs of the Council’s staff and organize the internal operations of the Council’s various units.
- The Supreme Advisory Board is considered the center of expertise, comprising prominent international experts, and it assists the General Assembly by providing technical opinions to make well-informed decisions based on professional advice.
- The Supreme Commission Board and the High Commissions that assist the General Assembly are bodies responsible for addressing human rights issues, in line with the Council’s vision to achieve high humanitarian objectives within the framework of international law.
- After reviewing the composition of the Senior Management of the General Assembly, headed by the President of the Council and his First Deputy, the organizational bodies of the Supreme Council for Arab-African Economy are presented as follows:
- Specialized international bodies have been established to achieve the Council’s objectives and its vision for global outreach across various fields. Each international body has a Board of Trustees chaired by the head of the international body, assisted by their deputies, who are the members of the Board of Trustees supporting the President.
- Under the management of these international bodies, a group of specialized international agencies operates. These agencies are the closest entities interacting with the public dealing with the Supreme Council for Arab-African Economy, functioning with precise specialization to achieve the Council’s goals and vision within the framework of international law.
