International Staff

According to the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice in 1949, which constitutes a source of international law, all personnel working within the administrative apparatus of an international organization, as well as their assistants—whether employed permanently or temporarily, and without distinction between senior management and administrative positions—acquire the status of international officials. Accordingly, administrative staff and service assistants working at the Supreme Council for Arab-African Economy are recognized as international officials in accordance with the established rules and sources of international law.
