Pursuant to the Council Presidency Resolution No. (267 / 2026) issued on 31/07/2025,
The Higher Council for the Arab-African Economic Cooperation hereby announces the accreditation and appointment of:
Mr / YAZAN MOHAMMAD AHMAD ELAYYAN (Jordanian Nationality)
to the position of: Advisor in the Public Relations and International Cooperation Sector at the Council’s
with the rank of “ A ”.
The aforementioned appointee is recognized as an international official in accordance with the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice in 1949. Accordingly, no individual has the right to detain, search, or undertake any investigative procedure against the appointee without prior authorization from the Organization, in accordance with the provisions of international treaties issued under the United Nations framework.
The appointee enjoys all international privileges and immunities granted under the following international agreements and treaties:
First: The provisions of Articles (57, 63, 105) of the United Nations Charter, 1945
Second: The preparatory conference documents of the United Nations Conference in San Francisco, 1945, establishing the absolute immunity of international officials in all countries, including their country of nationality>
Third: The Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations, 1946
Fourth: The Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the Specialized Agencies of the United Nations, 1947
Fifth: The provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, 1961
All authorities are kindly requested to facilitate the mission of the holder in achieving the objectives of the Organization in all countries worldwide.
