Counselor Dr. / Hany Abu Zeid

President of the Supreme Council for Arab-African Economy

He serves as the President of the Supreme Council for Arab-African Economy, accredited to the United Nations, where he leads efforts to strengthen economic and developmental partnerships between Arab and African countries, and works to activate mechanisms of joint cooperation in the fields of investment, food security, and sustainable development.

Dr. Abu Zeid also holds the position of Vice President of the United Nations Organization for Food Security, and serves as an advisor within the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) through the AIPD Committee, contributing to the development of international policies aimed at achieving economic stability and development for Arab and African peoples.

He holds a PhD in Diplomatic and Political Relations, and works as an international lawyer and legal advisor accredited by the Saudi Ministry of Justice, as well as a dispute resolution judge at the International Court in London. This legal and diplomatic expertise qualifies him to represent the Council at the highest international levels and to build bridges of trust with governments and regional and international organizations.

Under his leadership, the Council operates with a clear vision: to position the Arab and African world as an active partner in the international economic system, capable of addressing challenges through qualified national competencies.
